Jewelry can last a long time if properly maintained, but Leather, Solid Sterling Silver, Polished Silver, Zinc Alloy, and Rose Gold is NOT waterproof and I will no longer repair or replace jewelry if worn when bathing or swimming. Although getting it wet occasionally won't immediately damage it, repeated exposure to water, sweat and chemicals (i.e. soap, chlorine, saltwater etc.) will cause it to deteriorate.
